Appco Group founder and chairman Chris Niarchos’s latest blog focuses on the less obvious qualities that contribute to peoples entrepreneurial success, which could be considered as ‘flaws’ in many other contexts.

They include, an aversion to the typical 9-5 day and to be masters of your own destiny.

A natural tendency to challenge the rules and status-quo to devise new and improved ways of doing things.

And obsessing over the smallest details. This is especially the case when you’re just starting out.

Chris recalls, “The early days in my own business when I personally saw to the unloading of delivery vans to make sure my precious stock was accounted for!”.

He says that one of the key hallmarks of a successful business leader is to refuse to let standards slip even under pressure.
